People need to pick up after their pets, especially near the water because of water quality issues. The dog park is located near the East Boulder Community Center.

Description: This area has a 5 acre off leash dog-park where you can really let them run. It is adjacent to a 1.6 mile natural multi-use trail area where dogs must be on lead because of the sensitive habitats. The Open Space area is on the east side of the highway down a short gravel drive, and the dog park area is just west of the main trailhead; southwest of the parking lot. Benches and port-a-potties are on site.
